Classic sneakers

My red Jack Purcells are becoming something of trademark. (Tory Burch once told me she loved them and so now I never take them off). They are the perfect shade of red.  They were a special edition pair, so I dread the day when they wear out.

That said, there is nothing like a crisp white pair to start the summer out.  The best ones come in other colors as well.  Classics like Converse, Vans, Superga (nice inexpensive Italian shoes) and Tretorns (pictured) are all great and come in other colors that work well too.

These days an understated sneaker can take you through a range of occasions, especially if you work in a creative field and I love wearing my jeans, sneakers and a blazer and adding a tie if it's a special event.
