We had a blast during our shoot with Vanity Fair magazine for their 2013 Style Issue at one of my favorite places to dine, the Waverly Inn in Greenwich Village. Long before it was the storied hot spot, it was one of my favorite Village spots. Always the most intimate and cozy restaurant around, in its newer incarnation getting a reservation is a tad harder than the old days.
Prior to the shoot that day, it had been awhile since I’d been there so it was delight when Vanity Fair suggested we do our shoot there. It still exudes all the warmth and charm that it always did and it turns out that a rainy day with crackling coal fire place, the Sorel mural, the worn floorboards and the dimly lit wood, brick and leather interior made for the perfect place to have a picture taken.
